Glastonbury Festival: here is the 2025 lineup
The 1975, Neil Young and the Chrome Hearts and Olivia Rodrigo will be the headliners of this year’s event at Glastonbury Festival which will take place as usual in the Somerset. For Neil Young it is a return having already been in the role in 2009, while The 1975 and Olivia Rodrigo will go on stage as headliner for the first time.
Rod Stewartas already announced, wins the place of “legend” on Sunday afternoon, while Charli XCX, the Prodigy and Loyle Carner are the protagonists of the Other Stage.
Alanis Morissette, Doechii, Noah Kahan, Raye, Biffy Clyro and Nile Rodgers & Chic (the guitarist had also anticipated on the bill. The festival, which records the sold out, takes place from 25 to 29 June.
Among others, Defones, Busta Rhymes, Wet Leg, Four Tet, John Fogerty, Amyl and the Sniffers, TV on the Radio, Gracie Abrams, Anohni and the Johnsons, Maribou State, Wolf Alice, Fatboy Slim, Turnstile, Beth Gibbons, Ezra Collective, Father John Misty, Japanese, Japanese Breakfast, Amarae, Faye Webster, BeaBadoobee, Caribou, Scissor Sisters, Weezer, Floating Points, Osees, St. Vincent, Jorja Smith, Overmeo, The Libertines, Future Islands, Celeste, Girl in Red, Kae Tempest and many others.
Last year the headliners were Sza, Coldplay and Dua Lipa.
Neil Young was about to erase his presence. At the beginning of the year he said he would give up participating in Glastonbury, claiming that the BBC – the public radio station that broadcasts part of the Festival – was exercising a “corporate control” on the festival which is without sponsor and non -profit. Less than 24 hours later he moved back, blaming “an error in the information received” and confirming that he and his band would perform.
