Glastonbury Festival 2024: four headliners announced

Glastonbury 2024: good ticket sales

Emily Eavis, the organizer of the historian Glastonbury Festival, announced that the amount of fully paid tickets for the 2024 edition is the highest the festival has ever seen, meaning there will be “very limited” tickets available at resale.

“There will be a resale of returned tickets (very limited) at the end of this month,” Eavis added, and said via social media that the record number of paid sales was “incredible”, adding: “Thank you all so much”

Tickets in the annual resale are made available when the original purchasers have not paid their balance in full by the cut-off date.

While the exact resale date has not yet been announced (usually late April), hopeful attendees can expect another frenzied rush after last year's 2023 ticket resale sold out in just six minutes.

In November this year's coach and ticket packages sold out in 25 minutes while general ticket sales sold out in just under an hour.

This year's festival will take place from Wednesday 26 June to Sunday 30 June 2024 at Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset.

The line-up of the 2024 edition has also been announced: with Dua Lipa, Coldplay And SZA who will be headlining the Pyramid Stage, while Shania Twain will perform in the Legends slot on Sunday.

Other artists include LCD Soundsystem, Little Simz, Burna Boy, PJ Harvey, Cyndi Lauper, Michael Kiwanuka, Janelle Monae, Olivia Dean, Paloma Faith and Keane, who will all perform on the Pyramid Stage.

In the five days of music in the British location we also find Idles, Disclosure, The National, The Streets, Two Door Cinema Club, Avril Lavigne, The Last Dinner Party, Jungle, Justice, Bloc Party, Fontaines DC, Yard Act, Arlo Parks and Gossip .
