From Taranta to AMA: How to Reach the August Festivals

The season of big summer events is not over yet. August will be the month of some important Italian kermesses that will gather thousands of spectators: from the Notte della Taranta in Melpignano, in Puglia, to the AMA Festival. ParkForFun.com offers a parking reservation service for many of the upcoming expected live events.

Also this year ParkForFun will be present at the Notte della Taranta, one of the most significant events on popular culture in Europe, which will culminate with the great show on August 24 (but the day before there will be rehearsals). Shablo, producer behind the hits of Marracash, Club Dogo, Guè, Gemitaiz and MadMan, Salmo, Izi, Rkomi, Irama, will be the Maestro Concertatore of the 2024 edition. Here is some useful information:

Parking opening hours 2:00 pm

Parking areas:
P1 Melpignano: cars, motorbikes, buses, campers, minibuses (possibility of helmet and overall storage)
P2 Castrignano: cars, motorbikes, buses, minibuses
P3 Cemetery: car

Access from NORTH GATEWAY possible from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Access from WEST GATEWAY possible from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Access from SOUTH GATEWAY possible from 2:00 PM to 1:00 AM

Entry with a reservation ticket is guaranteed no later than 7.45pm

BUSES WILL BE ABLE TO ACCESS THE MELPIGNANO ZI EXCLUSIVELY FROM SOUTH GATEWAY.

For campers/caravans it is recommended to access from SOUTH GATEWAY.

For motorcycles it is recommended to access from NORTH GATEWAY where it will also be possible to purchase the HELMET and JACKET DEPOSIT service.

But the Notte della Taranta will not be the only festival where the ParkForFun service will be present. At the Wudy Arena in Versilia there will be concerts by Capo Plaza, Kid Yugi and Tony Boy (tonight), La Sad and Nitro (8 August), Anna, Rhove, Nerissima Serpe and Papa V (9 August), Gemitaiz (10 August), Irama (12 August), Massimo Pericolo (13 August), Gigi D’Agostino (15 August)

PARKING HOURS: it will be possible to access the dedicated parking area starting from 16:00 on the day of the event. The end time is an indicative time; it will be possible to recover your car at the end of the concert without any problem. From August 21st to 25th, the park of Villa Ca’ Cornaro in Romano d’Ezzelino, in the province of Vicenza, will host the AMA Festival with guests Coez and Frah Quintale, Il Tre, Clara, Editors, Rhove, Subsonica and Cosmo, among others. Parking can be booked here.
