Frank Zappa, “Cheaper Than Cheep” comes out

“Cheaper Than Cheep”Outgoing on May 9, it contains the soundtrack and images (with mix in the Dolby Atmos version, 5.1 Surround and Stereo) of the 1974 unpublished film-confirmed film made for TV and recorded in the private test room of the Mothers. In the early 1970s, television became a fundamental tool to increase the popularity of musical artists with the possibility of bringing them to all homes. Just for this Frank Zappain the private rehearsal room of the Mothers completely decorated with the usual stage of the stage including the light show of the tour, wanted video recourse to a performance by the band for its television production, with the intention of then selling it to the main television networks. Unfortunately, there were technical problems that caused the filing of the movie.

50 years later, with the progress of the post-production tools, is finally presented “Cheaper Than Cheep”a concert of over two hours never published before it reveals an intimate performance of the 1974 Mothers’ formation, with sound that comes directly from the audio masters and images from the Masters video, all restored.
