Ferretti and Zambon (CSI): concert in Mongolia on 4 July

The CSI – Consorzio Suonatori Indipendenti officially open the Mongolian two-year period with the international project “CSI Mongolia”, a path that marks the start of a new phase of the band and which takes shape starting from the participation of Massimo Zamboni and Giovanni Lindo Ferretti on July 4th at the Playtime Festival, one of the most important music festivals in the Asian area. A return full of meaning, because Mongolia was the real and symbolic landscape that inspired the genesis of Tabula Rasa Electrified. Ferretti and Zamboni return to those places for the Playtime Festival, where the first shots of the new documentary linked to the project (produced by Damocle, directed by Davide Ferrario) will also take place. With them on the Mongolian stage LOSTATOBRADO, a Bolognese collective of experimental electronic music, composed of Alessio Vanni, Lorenzo Valdesalici and Lorenzo Marra (sound designers and composers for cinema), who rearranged the songs for this concert.

From this first stage, a two-year journey takes shape which will lead to the great CSI concert in Ulan Bator in 2027, as the final and symbolic event of a cycle.

The “CSI Mongolia” project, conceived by Mad.e (main partner active in renewable energy and sustainability through the Sound Project) together with the TriploSound Association and the Playtime Festival, was created with the support of the ATER Foundation. Furthermore, thanks to the support of the Italian Cultural Institute of Beijing (IIC), the artists will perform at the IIC Auditorium in Beijing.

Meanwhile, anticipation is growing for CSI’s next Italian tour, whose line-up will feature Simone Filippi on drums. LOSTATOBRADO will be the opening act of all the tour dates, with the exception of the first of the two lives in Marzabotto.
