I am about to return to Italy i FaunGerman folk training that combines medieval instruments with modern music. The band will be in concert on Friday 10 October 2025 at the Live Club in Trezzo sull’Adda. Before them, Ye Banished Privatees and Fredriksson & Pettersson will go on stage.

The Fauns were founded in 2002 by Oliver Pade, Elisabeth Pawelke (which he abandoned in 2008), Fiona Rüggeberg and Birgit Muggenthaler (who left the formation in 2004 and in the same year Rüdiger Maul entered).
At the same time as the birth of the group arrives “Zaubersprüche”, their record debut, followed by 10 other studio albums. They also have three live records. The last “Pagan” release dates back to 2022.
The Fauns (which derive their name from the fauni, the mythological creatures that populate the woods), refer to the folk and medieval music all performed with a mainly acoustic instrumentation of ancient origin such as Ghironde, Bondage, Celtic Arpa, Bouzouki, Timbales on which the most modern championships are also ingest.

In addition to the use of the German native speakers sing texts written in different languages ​​including Latin, ancient Icelandic, Hungarian, Ladin and Finnish.

The German band also has a great environmental sensitivity and a strong link with nature (starting from the name). They support the organization for the protection of the sea life Sea Shepherd and together with it it launched a collection of t-shirts. The members are vegetarian and vegans.
