Farewell tour also for the Electric Light Orchestra

There Electric Light Orchestra Of Jeff Lynne will embark on a final North American tour between summer and fall 2024.

The “The Over and Out Tour“, which has 27 dates around the USA, will begin in Palm Desert, California on August 24th and conclude in Los Angeles on October 25th.

The Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) was formed by Jeff Lynne, Roy Wood And Bev Bevan in 1970, with Richard Tandy joining a year later.

The first part of the group's career ended in 1983, followed by a couple of short-term reunions in 1984 and 2000.

However, in 2014, Lynne resurrected ELO with Tandy in tow and has since released two studio albums and embarked on several extensive tours.

The Electric Light Orchestra has performed in Italy only twice: in 1972 and 2000

ELO has sold over 50 million albums to date and has had seven top 10 hits in North America, including “”Can't Get It Out of My Head”, “Don't Bring Me Down” and “Xanadu” .

In 2017, the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Widely considered one of the greatest record producers in music history, the 76-year-old founder Jeff Lynne he was also a co-founder and member of The Traveling Wilburys alongside George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison and Tom Petty, as well as producing and collaborating with some of the biggest names in music including The Beatles, Tom Petty, Roy Orbison, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Joe Walsh and Bryan Adams.
