Farewell to Rapper Fatman Scoop
The 53-year-old New York rapper Isaac Freeman III better known as Fatman Scoop died last night after collapsing on stage while performing at Town Center Park in Hamden, Connecticut. Immediate rescue efforts were unsuccessful.
Birch Michaelthe musician’s tour manager wrote on Facebook: “It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of Isaac Freeman III, known professionally as Fatman Scoop.
You taught me to be the man I am today. I love you Scoop, thank you for everything you gave me. Rest in peace.”.
On the official Instagram channel of Fatman Scoophis family released the following statement: “It is with deep sadness and heartbreak that we share the news of the passing of the legendary and iconic FatMan Scoop. Last night, the world lost a radiant soul, a beacon of light on stage and in life. FatManScoop was not only a world-class performer, he was a father, a brother, an uncle and a friend. He was the smile in our lives, a constant source of support, unwavering strength and courage. Fatman Scoop was known around the world as the undisputed voice of the club. His music made us dance and embrace life with positivity. His joy was contagious and the generosity he gave to all will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. As we mourn the loss of FatManScoop, we also celebrate his extraordinary life and the countless lives he touched. Fatman Scoop’s legacy is one of love and brilliance, he will forever be in our hearts and memories.”
Fatman Scoop He is best known for his 1999 hit “Be Faithful” and for his guest performances on “Lose Control” Of Missy Elliott And “It’s Like That” Of Mariah Carey. Recently A$AP Rocky recently revealed that he will be featured on his upcoming album in a song titled “Hood Happy”.
