On July 10, on the occasion of his 75th birthday, Kihn posted this message to his fans on Facebook: “Hello to all my wonderful Kihnfolk.
I am here to thank you all for the lovely birthday wishes. I am sure you are wondering where I have been. I apologize for not updating you sooner, but I needed some time for myself and my family. After so many years of touring and being on the radio from 3:00 am to 3:00 pm for 15 years, it is finally time to relax. I love to sleep in, watch movies, listen to music and my favorite thing to do is just spend time with my family. Again, thank you to each and every one of you for all your love and support. Rock on!”
Kihn was born in Baltimore but moved to San Francisco in 1974. Beginning in 1976, the

which included their biggest hit,
“Jeopardy”

“I Lost on Jeopardy”
