He passed away on February 6, 1998, at almost 41 years of age – he was in fact born on February 19, 1957 – in a car accident in the Dominican Republic, where he had moved for tax reasons. Hans Hölzel in art Falcon, Viennese by birth, in the world (and in Italy) he is mainly known for two songs, “Der kommissar” And “Rock me Amadeus”the second of which remains the only song sung in German to reach number one in the US charts.

Another story in his homeland where he has always had great success, so much so that 17 of his songs have entered the Austrian Top Ten.
