Eurovision 2026, here’s how Italy voted

Rai has published the details relating to how Italy voted in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, won by the Bulgarian singer Dara with her “Bangaranga” (Sal Da Vinci placed fifth with “Per semper Sì”).

In the televoting – by regulation each country cannot vote for its own representative – there was a boom in preferences for Moldova, both in the first semi-final on 12 May (the one for which Italy voted) and in the final on 16 May. In the first semi-final Satoshi, competing for Moldova with “Viva, Moldova!”, obtained 31.39% of the votes. In second place was Noam Bettan, competing for Israel with “Michelle”: the Israeli singer obtained 24.13% of the votes. Here is the ranking of the first semi-final:

The Italian national jury was made up of 7 members (compared to last year’s, which included 5 members, the regulation has been changed and now there is also the obligation to have two members aged between 18 and 25): Angelo Bonello (event producer), Enrico Cremonesi (composer), Giorgia Belfiore (journalist), Nicole Angelozzi (radio speaker), Dalila Frassanito (choreographer), Angelica Bove (singer-songwriter) and Roberto Paolillo (artist coordination of the Sanremo Festival).

In the first semi-final the jury voted as follows:
