Eurovision 2025, the video of Lucio Corsi’s performance in the final
The final ofEurovision Song Contest 2025, In Basel: Lucio Corsi performed For fourteenth, singing “I wanted to be a duruum.” A simple scenography, compared to the spectacular standard of ESC: “It is practically the one that I carry on the tours, which has already been seen in the series of dates in the clubs that I have done until just before the Eurovisionion, and that will be seen in the summer tour. The giant amplifiers behind us are inspired by a tour of Neil Young. For the Eurovision the piano is also very long”, he told us in the past few days. Here is the video of the performance – also appreciated by Ed Sheeran, who with a story on Instagram has defined the Italian song “Brilliant”.
Corsu had already made his song listened to the public from the stage during the first semifinal of the Eurovision 2025 of 13 May. Yesterday he went down to the press room and improvised a short concert in the middle of journalists. Of his performance he said
I brought the harmonica. And also the piano and guitars that do not play, however, are there to keep us company. But this thing is beyond, I don’t want it to be a controversy. My intent is not to bring the harmonica because it cannot be played in Eurovision. I am aware of the fact that Eurovision works like this, I was already aware when I agreed to participate. However, it is possible to play the harmonica because the voice is not in playback. So I thought: ‘The sound of the harmonica ends up in the microphone of the voice, I can integrate it. “Trying the piece at home I had already tried to insert the harmonica at that point, so I said I also proposed it to the Eurovision. So it can be an element of diversity compared to what we did in Sanremo. Where it could be played there”.
