Eurovision 2025: Michelle Hunziker also hosting

As announced by the EBU today, January 20, the hosting of the 69th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest will be entrusted to the Swiss, naturalized Italian showgirl, Michelle Hunziker together with the singer Sandra Studer and the comedian Hazel Brugger.

Eurovision 2025 will take place at the St. Jakobshalle in Basel, Switzerland, from 13 to 17 May 2025, following Nemo’s victory with the song “The Code” in the previous edition. It will be the third edition of the event to take place in Switzerland, after those of 1956 and 1989.

To find out who will represent Italy at the next edition of the singing contest, we will have to wait, as usual, for the Sanremo final. In fact, it will be the winner of Sanremo 2025 who will be entitled to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025. Last year the task fell to Angelina Mango with “La noia”.
