Elettra wants to register the “bilateral parties” trademark
Elettra Lamborghini try to transform a catchphrase born during Sanremo Festival into a real brand. On March 3, 2026, a few days after the end of the event, the singer, as reported Adnkronos, presented to theItalian Patent and Trademark Office the application for registration of the phrase “bilateral parties”which went viral during the Sanremo week. The expression was born during the Festival, when Lamborghini – competing with the song “Voila” – he recounted the sleepless nights in the hotels of the Ligurian Riviera due to the night parties organized by artists and professionals. With irony he had threatened to come down “in slippers with a megaphone” to interrupt what he had dubbed “bilateral parties”, transforming the joke into one of the most circulated memes of the edition.
The registration request concerns various product categories: cosmetics, clothing, digital music, electronic devices and even entertainment and event-related services. Practice is followed by study World Brandsthe same one who had assisted Lamborghini in the matter linked to the registration of his surname as a trademark. In 2024, in fact, theItalian Patent and Trademark Office had recognized the singer’s right to use “Lamborghini” as an artistic brand despite the opposition of Lamborghini carsbelieving that Elettra’s notoriety in the world of entertainment was now independent of the car brand. Now the singer is trying to do the same with one of the most unlikely catchphrases to come out of Sanremo: transforming a joke born on social media into a possible brand.
