Ed Sheeran Signed Guitar Up For Auction
Damiano Cavadi is a Roman content creator known for his ability to have objects signed by world-famous celebrities. Among his most memorable feats are the autograph of Shakira on a car door, that of Dustin Hoffman on an iconic hook, and the racket of Jannik Sinner. A particularly viral video portrays him while Messi signs a T-shirt from a car window, garnering over 3.5 million views. He also received a skullcap as a gift from Pope Francis in St. Peter’s Square.
His latest adventure takes place in Lucca, where he attends an Ed Sheeran concert (June 8 and 9, 2024). Bringing with him a guitar from his “Sheeran Guitars Mathematics Tour” collection, Damiano manages to infiltrate the backstage and have the instrument signed by the artist, who also adds a dedication. This meeting is enriched with a special meaning, as Ed Sheeran agrees to participate in an initiative proposed by Damiano.
The autographed guitar will be auctioned on the Catawiki platform, with the intention of donating the entire proceeds, net of expenses incurred by Damiano, at the “G. Pasquinucci” Heart Hospital in Massa Carrara. This hospital specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases for patients of all ages, from newborns to adults. The auction will begin on September 27, 2024 and end on October 13, promising to raise funds for a worthy and charitable cause.
