John Taylor: "The musical groups are extinct"

The Wild Boys return to Italy: everything is ready in Rome for the first of the two shows that will see the Duran duran perform for the first time in his career at the Circus Maximus. Tonight and tomorrow the ancient Roman stadium will host the two inaugural concerts of the Italian Branch of the Tour who is seeing Simon Le Bon (66 years old, voice), Nick Rhodes (63 years old, keyboards), John Taylor (64 years old, bass) and Roger Taylor (65 years old, drums) perform all over the world. In the Hit Scaletta with which the group has written some of the most beautiful pages of the pop-rock of the last forty years, from the same “The Wild Boys” to “A View to a Kill”, passing through “Ordinary World”, “Come Ungone” and “Save a Prayer”.

Duran Duran, who are performing on this lap without the guitarist Andy Taylor, affected 64 years old from a metastatic prostate tumor, had been missing from the capital for nine years. At the Circus Maximus will not be alone. Tonight to open the first of the two Roman shows will be Francesca Michielin, while tomorrow he will touch Jack Savoretti.

After the two shows this evening and tomorrow at the Circus Maximus of Rome, the tour will stop on Wednesday at the Levante Fair of Bari, before closing on June 20 in Milan on the stage of the IDays Festival at the Snai La Maura Hippodrome.
