‘Drum and Fake’, speaks Vasco Rossi
Last week the 64-year-old American drummer Mike Terrana he had published videos on his social channels in which he was seen playing the drums and accompanying in a completely virtual way Vasco Rossi. Those clips had pricked up the ears of the fans of the rocker from Zocca who for his stadium tour next summer 2024 will not have at his disposal, after over 15 years of honored collaboration, Matt Laug which yielded to the court of AC/DC and will be on tour with the Australian band. So let it be Mike Terrana Vasco’s new drummer in concert?

The staff of Vasco Rossicontacted by us a few days ago, he denied any rumors about it. Now it is the Komandante himself who takes the floor and has his say with a video published on his Instagram channel very explicitly titled ‘Drum and Fake’accompanied by the message below.
“It will no longer be possible to distinguish – they said some time ago – fake news from real news.
Well, in my opinion we have already arrived there. Yesterday when I read about Vasco Rossi’s new drummer I was shocked. Then I understood: drummers also play famous pieces to train. They make videos and put them on YouTube. Someone saw someone. So he deduced… so he wrote… So. here is the fake that is starting to circulate. I would like to point out that there was no contact. With nobody. The composition of the group for the next concerts will be released from official sources and at the right time. Speaking of Matt Laug, I love him very much, I’m happy that he went on the world tour with AC/DC, and I wish him all the best in the world, because he is a great person as well as a fantastic drummer. However, we will have a high-level character of great GREAT quality on the drums.”
Vasco Rossi will open its 2024 stadium tour on June 2 at the Stadio Comunale in Bibione, in the province of Venice. It will then continue with seven dates at the Meazza Stadium in Milan on 7, 8, 11, 12, 15, 19 and 20 June. Finally, at the end of June – on the 25th, 26th, 29th and 30th – he will perform at the San Nicola Stadium in Bari.
