Dream Theater announce the release of the album “Parasomnia”
THE Dream Theater composed of James LaBrie, John Petrucci, John Myung, Jordan Rudess And Mike Portnoy they return with their first album together since “Black Clouds & Silver Linings” of 2009. The album, the sixteenth of the American band, is entitled “Parasomnia” (a term that indicates disruptive sleep-related disorders, including sleepwalking, sleep paralysis and night terrors) and will be released on February 7th.
The album was produced by Petrucci, recorded by James ‘Jimmy T’ Meslin and mixed by Andy Sneap. While Hugh Syme returns once again to lend his creative vision to the cover.
The release of “Parasomnia” is preceded by that of the first single “Night Terror” which is accompanied by a video directed by Mike Leonard.

THE Dream Theater will embark on a world tour to celebrate their 40 years in business. ‘An Evening with Dream Theater 40th Anniversary Tour 2024 – 2025’ will start on October 20th in London and end on December 22nd in Santiago de Chile. Two dates are dedicated to Italy on 25 October at the Unipol Forum in Assago, near Milan, and on 26 October at the Palazzo dello Sport in Rome.
