Drake vs. Kendrick, again

Drake confirms release date for ‘Iceman’

A huge ice sculpture appeared in a Toronto parking lot last Monday. Drake announced that the release date for his ninth studio album, “Iceman,” was hidden inside and would be revealed once the ice melts. Naturally, fans reacted by starting to destroy the sculpture until the date was revealed: May 15th.

“Iceman” is the rapper’s first solo project since “For All the Dogs”. Drake first spoke of the record’s existence early last year: “When the time is right, I’ll be back with another album, a one-on-one conversation with you that you need to hear.” He later teased the project through a series of YouTube livestreams, in which he revealed excerpts of new songs supposedly included on the album, including “What Did I Miss?”, “Which One” featuring Central Cee, and “Dog House” featuring Yeat and Julia Wolf.
