Doobie Brothers release album “Walk this road”

THE Doobie Brothers have announced the release of their next new studio album titled “Walk this road” due June 6th on Rhino Records. The album will feature the former Doobie Brother Michael McDonald join the band together with Patrick Simmons, Tom Johnston And John McFee. Also in June, in New York, the band will receive the award in the Performing Songwriters category from the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

“Walk this road” was recorded in the winter of 2024 with the producer John Shanks. “Being back with the guys and playing together again is great,” he said Michael McDonald. “In my heart I have always been a Doobie Brother. We have all remained friends over the years. We all had a lot of fun, even more than we thought.”
