Dolly Pardon, the sister: “Pray for her”
Praying for Dolly Parton, is the one who asked the Freida Soroella to the fans explaining that the singer “did not feel at the best recently”, two weeks after the artist had postponed a residency to Las Vegas scheduled for December quoting “health problems”.
“Last night I was wake up all night to pray for my sister, Dolly,” wrote Freida Parton on social media. “Many of you know that recently has not felt at best. I really believe in the power of prayer and I have been guided to ask the whole world that loves her to become warriors of prayer and pray with me. She is strong, she is loved, and with all the prayers that are raised for her, I know in my heart that everything will be fine. Good luck, sister Dolly. We love you all!”
Later the sister corrected the shot saying “I didn’t want to scare anyone”.
Pardon, 79 years old, should have started “Dolly: Live in Las Vegas”, his first extended series of concerts in the city after 32 years, at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace on December 4, but the Residency was reprogrammed for September 2026. In an interview with the Guardian last year he declared “Oh, my God, I cannot think of withdrawing. I have to keep all those dreams alive.
