Deep Purple releases new single “Diablo”

THE Deep Purple they released the second single “Diablo” which will be included in the British band’s new album “Splat!”which is scheduled for release on July 3. “Diablo” follows “Arrogant boy”the first single from “Splat!”. In the new single, i Deep Purple they are joined by a guest, the guitarist and singer Keith Urban. The video clip of the song will premiere on the earMUSIC YouTube channel on Sunday 7 June.

The frontman of Deep Purple, Ian Gillanhe said about “Diablo”: “It’s about seizing opportunities. For once in your life, do something exciting, step outside the box, take that unexpected curve instead of staying on the highway, and do something that, for the rest of your life, will guide you or warn you.”

Regarding the band’s state of health, the group’s singer always explains: “Today’s lineup of Deep Purple seems like a current version of Deep Purple from the 70s”. And again: “The new music is in line with songs like “Highway Star”, “Smoke on the Water”, “Lazy”, it has the same dynamics, the same balance and the same fun as what we wrote between ’69 and ’73”.

THE Deep Purple will play this summer on 16 July in Pisa in Piazza dei Cavalieri (as part of Pisa Summer Knights) and on 17 July at Castello Carrarese in Este, in the province of Padua. The English band will return to perform in our country at the Unipol Forum in Assago, near Milan, on 17 October.
