David Gilmour: the playlist that anticipates “Luck and strange”
A way to ease the wait in view of the release of the new album “Luck and strange”, which will arrive in stores on September 6th (but can already be pre-ordered on the Sony Music Italia website), and to prepare for the lineup of shows that immediately after the release of the album they will see the legendary musician perform in the evocative setting of the Circus Maximus in Rome: the “David Gilmour Top Tracks” playlist, entirely dedicated to the iconic former Pink Floyd guitarist, is a sort of “best of” of an extraordinary career. The playlist, which you can listen to below, collects songs taken from David Gilmour’s solo albums, from his eponymous debut in 1978 up to “Rattle that lock” in 2015, including the first preview of “Luck and strange”, the single – just released – “The Piper’s Call”.
Not only that: there are also songs taken from live records with which Gilmour tried to capture on tape the sensations and emotions of the shows he held over the years in locations such as the excavations of Pompeii in 2016, awaiting the shows in ancient Roman stadium scheduled for 27, 28 and 29 September and 1, 2 and 3 October. .Here is the playlist, which you can listen to right below:

Here are the prices: the gold audience costs 230 euros plus presale rights which bring the total to 245.43 euros. The first rows of the stalls behind the gold cost 195.50 euros plus presale rights. The numbered stalls in sector 2 cost 149.50 euros. To the right and left of the stalls there will be numbered stands. The numbered grandstand in sector 1 costs 195.50 euros, the numbered grandstand in sector 2 costs 149.50 euros, the numbered grandstand in sector 3 costs 115 euros.
