David Byrne: Rosalía also in his Valentine's Day playlist

Usually sharing musical selections for his David Byrne Radio, the former Talking Heads frontman has presented and made available for listening on his website a playlist dedicated to Valentine’s Day. The collection, named “David Byrne Presents: Music For Valentines” includes songs, even not strictly romantic ones, by various artists, including young stars of pop and international music such as Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas, as well as Rosalía, the 1975 and SZA.

“This playlist is mainly made up of recent songs that I have added to my playlists”, wrote on his site David Byrne who, before explaining “who Valentine was”, underlined: “Some of these artists and songs were suggested to me from friends, newspapers and algorithms. They’re not all love songs, but many are famous!”.

The selection that the 70-year-old musician shared to remember February 14, Valentine’s Day, includes 47 songs – listed below – including “TV” by Billie Eilish from the 2022 “Guitar Songs” EP, “Despechá” by Rosalía, first extract from the deluxe edition of the third studio album “Motomami”, “Mon amour” by Stromae and Camila Cabello, as well as “Part of the Band” by 1975 and “Unconditional I (Lookout Kid)” by Arcade Fire.
