During the period of the exhibition, the heart of the initiative, a structured program of collateral activities will be organised, designed to deepen and broaden the many aspects of Bowie’s artistic production, exploring its connections with cinematographic, performative and multimedia language. Among these, the screening of the film “The Cabinet of Doctor Caligari” by filmmaker Giorgio Magarò stands out, which reinterprets the famous silent expressionist masterpiece of 1920 through a new soundtrack inspired by the musical universe of David Bowie. To complete the journey, the screening of the show-multimedia platform “Just For One Day”, born in January 2016 a few days after the artist’s death, represents a collective and multidisciplinary tribute to his legacy. Conceived by a diverse group of performing arts professionals, the project integrates music, images and performance into an immersive experience that reflects Bowie’s visionary and multifaceted approach.
The exhibition, which could become itinerant, will open on January 10th – on the tenth anniversary of Bowie’s death – and will remain open to visitors until April 6th 2026.
