Damiano: "My project and Måneskin live a separate life"

Damiano David: this is how live at Lollapalooza went

With one of the most talked about performances of the festival, Damiano David has marked a sort of “new beginning” in his artistic career at the Lollapalooza in Chicago. Roomed on the Grant Park Grove Stage around 19:45, the Måneskin frontman, in solo role, gave a taste of what will be his personal tour in the spotlight of an international thickness festival. It is the last stop before the start of the actual soloist tour. In Chicago, for Damiano, a circle closed and another is opened. Abandoned, only for the moment, the stadium rock, Damiano has chosen to present himself to the American public with an emotional and refined ladderalternating songs from his solo album “Funny Little Fears” on cover significant for him, including “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” by Mark Ronson. The Chicago Sun-Times defined its set “elegant and full of pathos”, while WBEZ Chicago underlined its ability to reinvent itself as “one of the most versatile and charismatic voices of the new generation”. There were no choreography or special effects: only Damiano, his band and songs. This solo test bench, in one of the most famous festivals in the world, proved to be an important stop. The solo tour will begin on 11 September from Warsawin Poland, and will close on December 16 in Washington, the capital of the United States. Two of the thirty -one concerts whose tour will be made up in Italy: On 7 October at the Unipol Forum in Assago, near Milan, and on 11 October at the Palazzo dello Sport in Rome.
