Daft Punk are back (with a video)
THE Daft Punk celebrated five years since their split by releasing a video for their single “Human After All”title track of their third album (read the review here) published in 2005. With a video five years ago, after a partnership that lasted 28 years, Thomas Bangalter And Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo announced their dissolution.
In recent years, as reported by the British magazine NME, both members of the French band have spoken of the need for a breakup,

he admitted he was “relieved” at the way the band broke up. “The question I ask myself most often is why we ended rather than how it could have lasted so long. It’s very much like a story or a mini saga: sometimes there’s a TV series that holds a special place in people’s hearts and keeps it, and lasts for one, two, three, four, five, sometimes ten seasons.”
