Cyndi Lauper sings Girls just wanna have fun with Hayley Williams

After starting last October 18th from Center Bell in Montreal, Canada, the farewell tour of Cyndi Lauper called “Girls just wanna have fun farewell tour” stopped last November 1st in Nashville, Tennessee.

As with the date in New York, which saw Sam Smith as a guest, also at the Bridgestone Arena Lauper decided to surprise the audience with another surprise artist. This time the 71-year-old American singer-songwriter invited Hayley Williams to join her on stage for the final song. Together with the Paramore frontwoman, on stage wearing a white outfit with red polka dots matching the star of the evening and her band, Cyndi Lauper performed her biggest hit, “Girls just wanna have fun”.

For Williams, who had already recorded a cover of the iconic 1983 hit with Kacey Musgraves, it was the first live collaboration with Lauper.
