Concerts: Angelo Branduardi’s tour leaving

On the occasion of the 800 years from the drafting of the “Canticle of Creatures”, in the year of the Jubilee, the new tour of Angelo Branduardi “Il Cantico” departing from the upper Basilica of San Francesco in Assisi, in the province of Perugia, on March 22, 2025.

“Il Cantico” is inspired by the figure of the “Poverello of Assisi”, as Branduardi himself tells: “The life of St. Francis of Assisi is that of a man who becomes a saint … a man (and therefore a saint) who chooses the joy of life, recommends it to his disciples, loves poverty” never disjointed by lethal ‘… Francesco is today more than ever holy, but is also a great poet; He loved singing and did it often, even alone … I tried to restore his words to give it back to sing them again “.

For the occasion Branduardi will return to tread the stages with the full band. Together with him they will go on stage: Fabio Valdemarin to keyboards, Nicola Oliva to guitars, Stefano Olivato on bass, Davide Ragazzoni On drums.
