Concerts: Alice’s ‘Master Songs’ tour kicks off

Carla Bissithis is the truth of the 70-year-old performer born in Forlì, presents her show with these words: “After four very intense years in which I paid homage to Franco Battiato, through a continuously evolving tour with many concerts and the album ‘Eri con me ‘, created with the Orchestra I solosti Filarmonici Italiani and Carlo Guaitoli on piano and direction, always interpreting and reliving his wonderful songs with unchanged emotion and intensity, I felt the desire to also be able to share songs that have determined and outlined my path musical and artistic, which I feel in a special way and which in this historical and life moment I consider very significant, Master Songs.
In addition to my songs, in this program I pay particular attention to songwriting, with songs by Battiato, Camisasca, De André, De Gregori, Di Martino, Fossati, Gaber, Guccini and I dedicate a special moment to poems set to music by Pasolini , Cappello and Di Gleria. As always, it is a privilege for me to share a fragment of life and give voice to music and words, poems, songs that can speak to us, enliven us and unite us, together with the extraordinary musicians Carlo Guaitoli piano and keyboards, Antonello D’Urso guitars, Chiara Trentin cello acoustic and electric, which will be with me on stage.”.
