Coldplay, the countdown for the new album has begun: the tracklist
The countdown to the release of Coldplay’s new album, titled “Moon music” and due on October 4, 2024, has officially begun. With about seven weeks to go until the release of the successor to the 2021 album “Music of the spheres” (read the review here), Chris Martin and co have revealed the tracklist of their next work.
Through a video shared on their official Instagram profiles, the British band revealed the titles of the ten songs of their new album, of which the lead single “feelslikeimfallinginlove” has already been released. Coldplay have already played another song from “Moon music”, entitled “Good feelings”, during the concert at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on July 12.
“The countdown has begun,” reads the caption of the post accompanying the video in which the frontman can be seen revealing the tracklist by hand-writing the song titles with a marker on a blank sheet of paper: “With just 7 weeks to go until the release of our new album ‘Moon music’, we are thrilled to reveal the tracklist.”
Coldplay have also confirmed the release of a new single, titled “We Preay”, for August 23rd featuring Little Simz, Burna Boy, Elyanna and Tini. An excerpt of the song, performed by the group live at Glastonbury, has been shared:
