Coldplay remember Charlie Kirk during a live in London
The Coldplay briefly paid homage to the conservative activist Charlie Kirk during their concert at the Wembley stadium in London last Friday evening. Before the performance on the notes of “Fix You”, the frontman Chris Martin encouraged the audience to raise his hands and “send love wherever you want in the world, there are so many places that they could need it today”. He continued: “You can send him to your brother or sister, you can send him to the families of people who have gone through terrible moments, you can send him to Charlie Kirk’s family”. Martin stressed: “You can send him to people you don’t agree with, but send them love anyway … you can send him to the Middle East, Ukraine and Russia”. Kirk was killed with a gunshot during an event at Utah Valley University. His murder is at the center of the chronicles and the political debate of these days.
