Tenco Award: nominations for the 2024 Tenco Plaques are open

Club Tenco, three special evenings in Liguria and Emilia-Romagna

For the Tenco Club, between today and tomorrow, there will be three special appointmentstwo in Liguria and one in Emilia Romagna.

Today, Friday, July 12in Cervo (Imperia) at Piazza dei Corallini, the 61st Deer Festival opens with the show in the name of Lucio Battisti Thoughts and Words. At 9:30 pm the 5 great jazz musicians Javier Girotto (sax), Fabrizio Bosso (trumpet), Rita Marcotulli (piano) and Mattia Barbieri (drums) will perform on stage. Peppe Servillo will perform. Still in Liguria tomorrow, Saturday, July 13that 9.30 pm at the Franco Alfano Auditorium in Sanremo (Imperia), as part of the Sanremo Summer Symphony, will be held an evening dedicated to Vittorio De Scalzi and his songs performed by the guys from Area Sanremo and the Sanremo Symphony Orchestra. The concert is conducted by Maestro Roberto Izzo.

In Emilia-Romagna, however, tomorrow, Saturday July 13, “The Tenco Listen” arrives in Novafeltria (Rimini) at the Arena sul Fiume (Ivan Graziani Park) at the 3rd Maledette Malelingue Festival. The evening starts at 9.00 pm and for the format dedicated to emerging artists Galassi, Luca Fol, Polinari and Tommasopercaso will have the opportunity to perform.

The evening’s guests will be the duo Vesbek and PercussionAmo. Presented by Paolo Talanca with the Artistic Direction of Filippo Graziani. “Il Tenco Ascolta” is the format that Club Tenco created in 2008 to give emerging artists from all over Italy the opportunity to be heard by an audience, often called by already established artists and “friends” of Tenco, and by the members of the Club’s Board of Directors. Sometimes the artist who participates in a “Tenco Ascolta” can be invited to the annual Rassegna della canzone d’autore di Sanremo. Artists who want to make themselves known can send their material to the Club Tenco website (form at the link www.clubtenco.it/nuove-proposte-contatti/) while for organizations and associations who want to propose organizing an “Il Tenco Ascolta” event, it is possible to send an email to [email protected].

Next autumn the “Tenco Award” which, having reached the important milestone of 50 years, will be held in Sanremo from 16 to 19 October 2024with three key evenings of live music with great guests at the Ariston Theatre October 17, 18 and 19.
