A few hours after the start of the 2026 Sanremo Festival (which sees Massimo Morini, at his 36th consecutive festival, engaged as Patty Pravo’s Audio Director for the third time) BUIO PESTO pay homage to the extraordinary theme song of the 2025 edition “Tutta l’Italia” by Gabry Ponte by publishing the photo-clip of the cover of that song, “Tutti in Liguria”, performed with great success by the band during the last 30 TOUR 2025.

Massimo Morini:

As soon as I heard the theme song, during the rehearsals for the 2025 Festival (I was Technical Director of Massimo Ranieri and Simone Cristicchi), I had the idea. I waited after the Eurovision Festival and then with Buio Pesto we wrote and created “Tutti in Liguria”: because Italy is beautiful, but Liguria is more…
The photo-clip (that’s what we call it and it is a trademark of our descriptive songs made in the list, such as “Verde”, “Io e te” and “Giovane Vecchia Italia”, cover of “We didn’t start the fire” by the great Billy Joel, created with the support of Rocco Tanica) is obviously totally didactic, no interpretation other than admiring what is beautiful in our region and remembering the great Ligurians who made the history of Italy: Christopher Columbus, Niccolò Paganini, Giuseppe Garibaldi, Giuseppe Mazzini, Goffredo Mameli, Angiolo Silvio Novaro… and BuioPesto!
