Bruce Springsteen releases 'Born in the USA' reissue

It was the June 4, 1984 when Columbia shipped the first printed copies of “Born in the USA“, the seventh album of unreleased songs by Bruce Springsteen, intending to definitively enter the history of rock after records such as “Born to run”, “Darkness on the edge of town” and “The river”.

The album had a destiny already written, thanks to songs like “Dancing in the dark” (which anticipated the release of the album by a month), “I'm on fire”, “Cover me” and the title track, that “Born in the USA” which would immediately become not only one of the Boss's most famous hits but also a true generational anthem. To celebrate the fortieth anniversary of a record considered a milestone in rock, a special reissue will be released for .Sony Music next June 14th, in colored vinyl with expanded packaging.

The European dates in 2024 follow a triumphant tour across the United States last year, which with 1.6 million tickets was described as among the best of the band's career. It will be in Italy on 1 and 3 June at the San Siro Stadium in Milan.
