Bruce Springsteen: it’s not yet time for a farewell tour

Bruce Springsteen On the evening of July 3, on the stage of the San Siro stadium in Milan (Read here the review of the concert), has closed (for now) the ‘The Land of Hope and Dreams Tour’. Springsteen seemed really in excellent shape and offered shows that border on the duration of three hours.

The bosses fans, however, wonder with a pinch of fear – given the age that advances, in September for the New Jersey rocker it will be 76 years – as far as they can still see it live and that the neighbor may be the farewell tour on the scenes.

To dispel for the moment every fear has thought of Bruce himself, who in a recent interview granted to the US magazine Rolling Stone to the precise question if a farewell tour is scheduled to have replied concise and direct: “No”.

During the interview Springsteen also explained how the live performances of his and street bands have naturally evolved over time. “We played differently in 1975. There was a different youth energy. But the depth, resonance and experience we had in the last 50 years of concerts together have come out significantly at this moment, in our performances. And at this moment the band on stage is simply tough”.
