Bruce Dickinson will never sing that Paul’s song of the year

The Iron Maidenthe legendary Metal band, during the next tour for the 50th anniversary of activity, entitled “Run for your lives“, They will focus on the first nine albums, from their homonymous debut of 1980 to”Fear of the Dark“of 1992.

The tour will begin on May 27 in Budapest, Hungary and will stop in Italy on July 13 at the Euganeo stadium in Padua.

However, the frontman Bruce Dickinson he said there is a song from the era of Paul of the year that will never be performed: “Remember Tomorrow“, a significant and touching song of the band’s first album. Dickinson expressed the desire to leave this song as a respectful tribute to the year, which disappeared in October 2024.

In an interview with Classic Rock, Dickinson underlined the importance of “Remember Tomorrow” as one of the greatest successes of the year and paid tribute to his fundamental contribution to the first two albums of the Iron Maiden, calling them “innovative”.

During a concert in Minneapolis, one day after the death of the year, Dickinson praised the extraordinary voice of the singer and his commitment to rock ‘n’ roll until the end of his life. He invited fans to make a moment of silence to reflect and pay homage to the year, expressing gratitude for what he did for the band.

Although Dickinson has been the Iron Maiden singer for over 40 years, he has always recognized the influence and significant contributions of his predecessor.
