Brian Eno releases the soundtrack to his documentary film: first single

In addition to “Eno” by Gary Hustwit, the documentary film about Brian Eno presented last January at the Sundance Festival and due out over the next few months, the career and visionary nature of the 75-year-old musician and producer will be retraced by the 17 songs of the soundtrack sound of the feature film.

The disc that accompanies the film, created from hours of footage, music and interviews to explore the art and ideas of Brian Eno and offer the viewer a personal and intimate vision of his creative processes, will be available from April 19th. The soundtrack will include songs from Eno’s early work in the 1970s and tracks from his most recent 2022 album, “Foreverandevernomore”, as well as collaborations with the likes of David Byrne, John Cale and Cluster, plus three new releases, including the single already available for listening “Lighthouse #429”.

“Picasso once said: ‘Inspiration exists, but it must find you while you work.’ I don’t wait to be inspired: I start working and (if I’m lucky) I become ‘inspired’. And if I’m not lucky I’ll keep doing it until my luck changes,” Brian Eno said in a statement: “I’m stubborn and confident that eventually I’ll get something if I keep doing it.”
