Branduardi and the illness in Rome: the conditions of the singer-songwriter

On Sunday 9 November Angelo Branduardi was supposed to perform at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome in the live “Il cantico” (on the occasion of the 800th anniversary of the writing of the Cantico delle Creature) but, due to illness, the concert was postponed to December 26th. The singer-songwriter’s staff had spoken of hospitalization and diagnostic tests in Varese to evaluate his health conditions following the slight illness that struck him before the start of the concert.

Recently he had already shown symptoms of asthenia, therefore tiredness and fatigue. According to thelatest medical bulletin“Branduardi is already better and is just a little dehydrated, now he is recovering with the IV.” The 75-year-old singer-songwriter should return to the stage for the next scheduled event in his calendar, which is Saturday 15 November at the Goldoni Theater in Venice. Meanwhile, Branduardi also wanted to send a message of condolences for the death of Peppe Vessicchiowho passed away last Saturday due to interstitial pneumonia.
