Billy Joel’s 100th Concert at Madison releases on DVD and Blu-ray
“The 100th: Live at Madison Square Garden (The Complete Concert)” Of Billy Joel will come out in DVD And Blu-ray next May 29th on Legacy Recordings. The concert on March 28, 2024 was the hundredth consecutive performance of his historic residency at Madison Square Garden in New York.
The release announcing his release states: “Called the ‘greatest arena concert series of all time,’ Joel was joined in his iconic 100th performance by his formidable seven-piece band to deliver electrifying performances of his timeless classics and lesser-known fan favorites. Two of the songs were performed with the special guest appearance of Sting. CBS’s broadcast of the concert later that year drew 10 million viewers and won three Emmy Awards.”
The complete concert includes eleven additional performances not featured in the original broadcast, including
“Uptown Girl,” “We
Didn’t Start The Fire”
and an execution of
“Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic”
of the
Police
with
Sting
.
