Billie Joe Armstrong releases song he wrote when he was 5 years old
Billie Joe Armstrong released a song titled “Look For Love” which he recorded when he was 5 years old. The frontman of Green Day he published a photo on his Instagram channel that portrays him as a child in front of a piano. He wrote in the caption: “Something from 1977. I recorded this when I was 5. Written by Marie Louise Fiatarone and James J. Fiatarone. Recorded at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley.”

he recorded it for his Fiat Records label and had Billie Joe interviewed by his wife on the other side of the 7″ vinyl. Armstrong said in the interview that singing makes people happy and that he loves being a singer. Fiatarone, who owned a shop and founded his own label, offered music lessons.
Fiatarone noticed the singer's talent and made a pact with Billie Joe's mother: if Billie recorded songs for his label, he would not make him pay for his music lessons or his brothers. Only 800 copies were printed
