Billie Eilish: the video for “Lunch”, the most talked about song
Billie Eilish has released the official video clip for “Lunch”, the single that accompanies the release of her new album “Hit me hard and soft”, just released. The song, on the eve, was one of the most awaited by fans, among the ten contained in the ideal successor to “Happier than ever”. It was the Los Angeles pop star herself who fueled the anticipation, anticipating the contents of the song, in which she talks about her love for a girl “comparing the sex with her to devour a meal”. In the text, between allusions and double meanings, Billie Eilish – who came out last year: “I've loved girls all my life, I only fully understood it last year”, she said – sings: “I could eat that girl for lunch / Yeah, she dances on my tongue”, “I could eat that girl for lunch / she dances on my tongue”.
Here is the official video of the single:.
No single had been released before the release of the album, which took place last Friday: “This album is a family: I don't want a child to find himself alone in the middle of the room”, Billie Eilish explained about the choice. “Hit me hard and soft” interrupted a three-year recording silence, as many as have passed since the previous “Happier than ever”. The album, our review here, saw the 22-year-old pop star return to the naive attitude of her early days with “When we all fall asleep, where do we go?”.
