Billie Eilish against Israel and the plan for Gaza: “horrible”

Already last year he adhered, together with other celebrities, to the artist4ceasefire initiative to ask for the fire in Gaza. Now Billie Eilish intervenes firsthand on the conflict in the Middle East. It does so to comment on the most recent developments of the war: the plan, announced by Israel, to forcefully transfer the population of Gaza. In fact, the Israeli government wants to convince the Palestinian population of the Gaza Strip to move to a limited area near the city of Rafah, in the South. The Israeli Foreign Minister, Israel Katz, has defined the area a “humanitarian city”, but for the most critical what has been defined as a humanitarian operation hides a military objective of Israel to forcefully empty the north of the strip. And among the most critical, Billie Eilish also enrolls.

The US pop star shared a BBC Reel on his Instagram stories on the news announced by the Israeli Foreign Minister and under the clip he wrote: “Horrifying”, “horrible”. Many users, among the comments, of the posts published by Eilish on Instagram thanked the pop star for expressing themselves and taking position.
