Beck is working on an orchestral album
Recently interviewed by “Wallpaper”, Beck has revealed that he was working on an orchestral album. The American musician gave the news by talking about his recent orchestral concerts held at the Royal Albert Hall in London at the beginning of this month. During his double Residency on 19 and 20 April, he performed a series of less well -known songs from his repertoire, together with successes such as his cover of “Everybody’s Got to learn Sometimes” of the Korgis.
The recent shows in the historic London concert hall, and the next orchestral tour in North America, have therefore led the public to believe that Beck could be oriented towards an orchestral turning point for his next album. Now, according to the “wallpaper” article, it seems that it is like this: the artist was in fact in the studio with an orchestra. However, it has been specified that it will not be a sequel to his latest album, “Hyperspace” of 2019. Beck has in fact made it known that he considers this new job as a “project not disclosed and without name”.
The artist will continue to propose orchestral versions of his songs during the North American tour that will begin in July of this year. Starting from New Haven, Connecticut, the tour will touch cities such as Toronto, Cincinnati, Chicago and others, to conclude the tour with a show in San Diego.
