Beatles: fans will be able to go to the roof of Apple in London
Next year the number doors 3 Savile Row will open to the public for the first official experience dedicated to fans of Beatles. As reported by the British magazine NME, the Mayfair venue has long been a point of reference in the history of pop culture, having been one of the first venues of Apple Corps Ltdhosting the studio where it was recorded “Let It Be” (read the review here) and, above all, the place where the last public performance of the Beatlesthe rooftop concert from 1969.
In 2027, it will open its doors to the public for the first time. Next year’s grand opening will give fans access to seven floors of previously unreleased material from the company’s extensive archives Apple Corpstemporary exhibitions, a fan shop and a reconstruction of the original studio where it was recorded “Let It Be”. It will also offer fans the opportunity to walk in the band’s footsteps and relive the iconic rooftop concert, immortalized in the film “Get Back” Of Peter Jacksonexactly in the place where it took place.
