Avanzi di Balera, a live vinyl (in tribute to Carlo Dolce)
In 2004 the leftovers of Balera, thanks to the Magix Promotion Agency by Marco Più and the Promoter Paolo Piccioni, perform in a series of concerts on Swiss land in which they present their tribute show to Lucio Battisti “That great genius of my friend” who, in addition to proposing the songs taken from the work of the same name published in June 2002 for the on sale music, sees a series of new songs signed by Mogol – to which the group has worked with the feeling rock that distinguishes its arrangements.
On January 20, 2004, a service on the surplus of Balera in the “Il Quotidiano” column made by the famous journalist “Battistologist” Giorgio Fieschi is aired at the RTSI (radio television of Italian Switzerland). The interview with the group and the filming of the concert were carried out on the occasion of the performance of January 18 in the local Live in Mendrisio.
To crown this event in Swiss land on 30 July 2004, the surplus of Balera play at the MelideState 2004 OpenIr Festival in the splendid setting of the lakefront and the unexpected gift of the entire recording of the concert in which each item and each tool were resumed on single tracks receive the unexpected gift.
Twenty years after that evening, the curiosity to listen to that performance, to sail the quality of the sounds and the professionalism with which the phonic had done their work, pushed the group to want to publish a live album in vinyl with the songs performed during the concert: also as a sign of greeting and tribute to Carlo Dolce, who missed a few months ago.
Inside the vinyl is inserted a pen drive with the vinyl mp3 plus some bonus tracks of the same Melide concert in addition to a super bonus track as a song by Battisti, “your happiness”, which the leftovers have made in the studio in 2007, today never published, taken from the first album of the post Mogol, “and already”.
