“Amaia. Sequence plan” arrives, the first essay on Amaia

Luis Álvarez Borrero is an Andalusian journalist and artist manager who, after writing a book about the career of film director Alberto Rodríguez, now surprises us with “Amaia. Sequence plan”a book dedicated to one of the great figures of our country, the Navarrese Amaia.

In the prelude to the book we are already told that “this is a book, above all, for fans of Amaia Romero Arbizu”, so things are clear from the beginning. But the thing is, throughout almost three hundred pages that revolve around one of the most popular and admired figures of the new Spanish pop scene. Not only is his career reviewed, but an attempt is made to explain the phenomenon he has generated with his songs, his sensitivity and his way of developing his career. Without a doubt, a necessary work that arrives in the midst of the growth process of an artist who still has to give us a very good time. The book is completed with a prologue and an epilogue by the journalist and critic Emilio R. Cascajosa.
