Almamegretta, the last two live dates of the celebratory tour

The last two dates of the “arriveSanacore Live Tour – 30th Anniversary “ of the Almamegretta, Eight appointments in the main Italian clubs, all concentrated in March, dedicated to the 30 years of “Sanacore”, the band’s second and iconic album, considered a milestone of their discography and one of the most significant records of an entire musical generation.

The tour, which has already recorded the Sold-outs of Settimo Torinese, Milan, Naples, sees the band propose a set of great impact that includes the entire album and other songs of their career (Read the review here)

After the live of Florence, Nonantola (MO), Settimo Torinese (TO), Milan, Naples and Ciampino (Rome) The two conclusive dates are expected to

March 21 at the Hall in Padua
March 22 at the Vidia in Cesena

Released in 1995, “Sanacore” united experimentation and tradition, electronics and acoustic echoes, reggae, dubs and popular song, a revolutionary album that will win the Tenco Targa as the best album in dialect, one of the four won in the career by the Neapolitan band (1994 – migrant soul; 1995 – Sanacore; 2001 – Imaginary; 2023 – Senshe).

Represented a cornerstone for alternative Italian music, laying the foundations for a path of contamination and innovation that made the Almamegretta among the most influential protagonists of that music scene (Read here interview with Raiz).

Before leaving for the tour, the Neapolitan band made the EP“Sanacore 2.0.2.5 Reloaded”, of 6 songs with 2 different versions of “Nun Ti Scurdà” and as many of “If Stuta ‘or Ffuoco” as well as two unpublished doubts: “Hard Kora Dub” and “Unforgottable Dub”. The latter two songs enter the Tour Scaletta.
