Adrian Belew forms the Beat to play 80s King Crimson

Robert Fripp gave full support to Beatthe new lineup led by the former singer and guitarist of King CrimsonAdrian Belew together with the bassist of Crimson and Peter Gabriel Tony Levinthe drummer of Tool Danny Carey and the six-string virtuoso Steve Vai which aims to play songs taken from the three albums of King Crimson of the 80s “Disciplines”, “Beat” And “Three Of A Perfect Pair”.

So far, only one concert has been announced, at Humphrey's Concerts By The Bay in San Diego, California, next on September 17th.

.Robert Fripp gave the new group a thumbs up by posting this message on his social media channels: “This is the project that Adrian Belew called me about last fall, a project that I fully support and encourage, and which I recently discussed with Steve Vai at McCabes . in Santa Monica (March 3, 2024).
