Not just wigs and rhinestones: Dolly Parton's 80th birthday

Actress Kaley Cuoco would like to play Dolly Parton

“I’m in love with her, I only hear good things about her.” Kaley Cuoco adore Dolly Parton and would like to play her in a possible biopic.

The actress, known for playing Penny in “The Big Bang Theory”, was promoting the new series “Vanished” with Sam Claflinwhen the two were asked if there were any music stars they’d like to play in a biopic. At this point, Claflin suggested Parton’s name to Cuoco:

Oh yes! It’s a fantastic idea. I’m in love with her, I’ve heard only beautiful things about her. Do you know what I like about her? She and her husband live in separate homes. I know he’s gone, but she always talked about it, they were together forever and I thought, ‘This is how it’s done.’ They simply live in different houses. It’s fantastic! Knock knock, let’s have dinner, let’s go.

For his part, Claflin would like to take on the role of Frank Sinatra: “Just because I think his life was great, I think Sinatra’s would be an incredible story. I don’t think I’m right to play him, but I would love to see that movie. I think his story, his alleged ties to the Mafia… I think there’s so much to tell, and as a singer, songwriter, entertainer, he was a real force.”

Cuoco also suggested that she could have played Nancy Sinatra’s daughter, as well as Debbie Harry’s Blondie.
